Dungog Festival is an annual event that provides an opportunity for the Dungog Shire community to band together and showcase the best it has to offer. It engages the local community and attracts visitors from far and wide to celebrate our creativity, agricultural traditions and our uniqueness as a region.
Since it began beginnings in 2014, Dungog Festival has evolved from a film focused event to one that pays tribute to our growing arts scene while retaining our agricultural traditions and values. Each year the festival grows in popularity with events such as the Long Table Dinner and the James Theatre program becoming not-to-be-missed events.
Dungog Festival is funded through a variety of sources of which our ticket sales make up a small proportion. We work hard to bring our communities together and invest in developing and promoting the growth of our arts and cultural heritage and values. Dungog Arts Foundation holds charity status to encourage members of the public to invest in the arts and in what the Dungog Festival does for our community. We would not exist without our generous supporters, no matter their size.
